Homemade Breakfast Granola
Homemade granola with seeds and nuts.
- 12 cups large flake oats (1kg)
- ½ cup ground flaxseed
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- ¾ cup oil - melted coconut, avocado
- ¾ cup maple syrup or honey
- ½ cup sesame seeds
- 2 cups mix of slivered almonds, pepitas, sunflower seeds or walnuts
- 2 cups dried cranberries
Preheat oven to 350°F
Mix oats, ground flax and cinnamon with oil and maple syrup or honey. Bake for 15 minutes
Add nuts and seeds.
Continue baking, stirring every 15 minutes until it is toasted to the level of doneness you like. I find this typically takes 45 minutes.
Once cooled add cranberries and store in airtight containers.
